Nativity Christmas Lighted Outdoor Decorations
Nativity scenes are very traditional Christmas decoration, especially for outdoor lighted scenes. They remind us all of the reason for the season, the birth of Jesus Christ.
Create a Nativity Set
The core of your nativity scene should have Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in a manger. The focus should be on the Jesus and he is generally in the middle of the scene. Mary is usually positioned closest to baby Jesus.
The three wise men, or magi, from the Gospel of Matthew are a great addition to your scene.
You could also include the Star of Bethlehem that they followed and their gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Other great additions are a choir of angels and visiting shepherds as described in the Gospel of Luke.
Finish up with various animals such as camels, lambs, and oxen and your outdoor nativity scene is complete.
